A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) subsidiary has booked a firm-fixed-price contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide active protection system kits for the U.S. Army and federal civilian agencies.
The Department of Defense said Tuesday the Williston, Vermont-based General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems was awarded a one-time-buy contract worth at least $191.2 million for the purchase of Iron Fist Active Protection System B-kits.
The award spans three years and has no option periods for extension. It is expected to be completed by July 31, 2027.
Funds for the project will be allocated from fiscal 2024 Ukraine payback funding.
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama is the contracting activity.
