A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) subsidiary has received a $107.5M contract modification to install payload modules on Virginia-class submarines and produce insertion prototype materials for the USS South Dakota or SSN 790.
General Dynamics Electric Boat will perform work under the sole-source modification through November 11, 2019, the U.S. Navysaid Friday in a FedBizOpps notice.
This award follows a previous $116M modification that Electric Boat received in 2016 for the same contract.
