The company said Wednesday that its revenue for the period was 18 percent higher than the revenue reported for the same period in 2023.
Of the company’s four segments, marine systems logged the highest revenue for the quarter at $3.5 billion. It was the aerospace segment, however, that saw the greatest improvement year-over-year.
For Q2 2023, the aerospace segment raised $1.9 billion in revenue, but for 2024, it raised $2.9 billion in revenue, marking a 50.5 percent increase.
Commenting on the aerospace segment’s performance, Novakovic, a past Wash100 awardee, noted, “we are continuing to ramp up the pace of our G700 deliveries.” The quarter saw 37 Gulfstream aircraft deliveries, an improvement over the 24 delivered in the same period last year.
