TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 21, 2016 ” General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has secured an $18.9 million contract modification from the U.S. Navy for the development of a payload module for the Virginia-class attack submarines, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday the award covers two Virginia payload module pre-production units and brings the overall value of the original contract to $1.46 billion.
