TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 3, 2018 General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) is anticipated to invest an estimated $850 million to establish a new facility and expand operations in Connecticut in support of its General Dynamics Electric Boat subsidiary, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The Connecticut Post reported Tuesday the company is set to receive $83 million from the state government to help fund the expansion, which will include a new dry dock to house the accelerated construction of the U.S. Navy‘s Columbia-class ballistic missile submarines, as well as the addition of nearly 2,000 workers across Groton and New London over a 17-year period.
