TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 24, 2018 A General Atomics business unit will deliver a prototype lithium-ion battery system for the U.S. Special Operations Command’s manned underwater vehicles under a new contract focused on integration and testing, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The company said MondayGeneral Atomics Electromagnetic Systems will provide a Lithium-ion Fault Tolerant prototype designed to power the propulsion and support systems of SOCOM undersea vehicles used to transport payloads and Special Operations Forces.
