TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 4, 2018 General Atomics will host a NASA space-based instrument on a commercial low-Earth-orbit satellite in support of a mission to study aerosols in the atmosphere to measure the radiance and polarization of sunlight, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The space agency said Friday the company will provide ground system design, integration, test and readiness; integration planning; instrument-spacecraft integration, test and prelaunch processing; in-orbit checkout; as well as on-orbit spacecraft operations services for the Multi-Angle Imager for Aerosols instrument.
