TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 8, 2018 General Atomics will integrate a France-supplied sensor-based data collection payload with a 242.5-pound Orbital Test Bed satellite that it will launch for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration under a U.S. Air Force order, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The company said Thursday the Air Force’s Space and Missile Systems Center tasked its electromagnetic systems business to place the French space agency’s Argos Advanced Data Collection System payload with the satellite through the Hosted Payload Solutions program.
