TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 12, 2017 A General Atomics business unit has updated its production line for the MQ-1C Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft system to focus on the extended-range variant in support of the U.S. Army, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said TuesdayGeneral Atomics Aeronautical Systems has completed work on the last contracted MQ-1C drone and will move to the MQ-1C ER, with four of the variant already undergoing developmental tests ahead of follow-on operational test and evaluation in the spring.
