TYSONS CORNER, VA, February 24, 2016 Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has officially unveiled that its teaming arrangement with CAE (NYSE: CAE), Finmeccanica and Honeywell (NYSE: HON) will offer the T-100 trainer aircraft for the U.S. Air Force‘s T-X program, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
Raytheon said Monday T-100 is based on the Aermacchi M-346 and will feature a ground-based training system and Honeywell’s F124 turbofan engines.
Gene Colabatistto, group president for defense and security at CAE, added that the company aims to provide its simulation technologies to train Air Force pilots.
