The Department of Defense said Monday the company will deliver support for the prototype phase of the USAF’s Next Generation Adaptive Propulsion program.
Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award, GE Edison Works will perform contract work in Cincinnati, Ohio. The target completion date is July 11, 2032.
The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio is the contracting activity.
Initial Contract Award
GE’s Edison Works was one of five companies selected in August 2022 for a potential 10-year, $975 million contract. Under the contract, the awardees provide services involving design, rig testing, analysis, weapon system integration and prototype engine testing for the NGAP program.
