John Nichols and Lee Bennett, co-founder and managing director of OnCore, and Lisa Mascolo, former managing director of federal businesses at IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and a two-time Wash100 awardee, will serve on the board of directors of the combined company, GCOM said Tuesday.
GCOM provides software-as-a-service platforms, data analytics and information technology services to government agency customers in support of public safety, health and human services and economic development efforts.
OnCore provides cloud, enterprise architecture, project management, custom development and other IT services for the public sector in California to support client agencies’ initiatives in health and human services, pension, tax and revenue and energy and conservation.
Kamal Bherwani, CEO of GCOM, said the merger marks an important step in widening the company’s mission to help governments establish safer and healthier communities and builds upon its experience working with agencies in support of their constituents.
