Government technology provider GCOM has acquired ASR Analytics as part of efforts to add artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities to its portfolio of software-as-a-service platforms and services in support of government clients.
“The unprecedented events of the past two years have highlighted how critical emerging technologies are to the delivery of government services,” GCOM CEO Kamal Bherwani said in a statement published Thursday.
“By joining forces with ASR, we’re doubling down on our advanced analytics capabilities and helping our customers better predict and respond to the needs of their constituencies,” added Bherwani.
GCOM said the analytics consulting services firm’s current management team will continue to operate ASR through its offices in Washington, D.C., and Phoenix.
ASR Founding Principal Michael Stavrianos will lead a newly created federal practice at GCOM, which will integrate ASR’s RevHub enterprise tax analytics platform into its product lineup.
