He will oversee the development and deployment of specialized technology and service offerings for the branch in areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, 5G and high-performance computing, GDIT said Monday.
The 35-year Army veteran joins GDIT from the Defense Information Systems Agency, where he most recently served as the assistant to the director and helped manage DISA’s $13 billion IT portfolio.
He previously served as military deputy and chief information security officer in the Army’s Office of the Chief Information Officer.
His military career included command and operational assignments including Operation Inherent Resolve in the Middle East, Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
