The FY 2024 Defense Appropriations Act would provide $33.6 billion in funding for the planned construction of eight new Navy ships; $3.72 billion for Army combat vehicles; $2.3 billion for the Next Generation Air Dominance program and collaborative combat aircraft development; and $1.8 billion for 10 additional P-8 maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft.
