Four Companies Awarded Spots on $150M Library of Congress IT Services IDIQ

The Library of Congress has awarded four spots on a potential five-year, $150 million multiple-award contract to provide a full range of information technology life cycle technical support services.

The awardees on the IT services indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract are MIL Corp., CGI’s (NYSE: GIB) federal arm, Artemis Consulting and Accenture’s (NYSE: ACN) federal business, according to an award notice posted Thursday.

IT services to be provided under the IDIQ contract will cover the Library’s IT investments and related projects that may comprise the phases of its system development and project development life cycles. The services will also support planning and analysis, operations and maintenance, development and modernization activities across several task areas.

The contract’s task areas include software application design, development and maintenance; commercial off-the-shelf products, platform as a service, software as a service; database management systems; communications and messaging; collaboration systems and platforms; voice and data networking infrastructure; systems monitoring and management; endpoint devices and peripherals management; data center operations and data center infrastructure management; operations support for IT services; independent verification and validation; and customer education and training.

The Library issued the solicitation for the contract in December and accepted bids through Jan. 22.
