TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 3, 2017 ” Fortinet (Nasdaq: FTNT) FortiGate Enterprise Firewall technology has secured authorization from the Defense Department to support government networks as part of the Commercial Solutions for Classified Programs approved components list, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The company said Wednesday DoD validated the firewall based on three Common Criteria Protection Profiles in efforts to ensure that the technology works to protect highly sensitive data on classified networks.
