Wael Mohamed, former president and chief operating officer at Trend Micro Group, has succeeded Greg Clark as CEO of network security vendor Forescout Technologies.
Clark will continue to serve as co-chairman of Forescout’s board of directors and work closely with Mohamed to lead drive its “enterprise of things” defense mission, the company said Monday.
The new chief executive previously spent 11 years with Trend Micro, which implemented initiatives to create more than more $4 billion in shareholder value under Mohamed’s leadership. He also co-founded software provider Third Brigade, which the cybersecurity firm acquired in 2009.
