Mark Cabrey, former president and chief operating officer of Phacil, has joined information technology contractor Technica as chief financial officer.
Technica said Tuesday the nearly three-decade industry veteran brings customer and corporate relations experience as the Dulles, Virginia-based company aims to build up its position in the government IT market.
At Phacil, he initially served as the company’s first CFO for four years and later elevated to the positions of president and COO.
He spent five years at Apptis as corporate controller and led its merger with URS, where he served as vice president of business operations within the IT services division of URS’ federal arm.
Cabrey held a 20-year career at Unisys (NYSE: UIS) earlier in his career.
