Clement Chen, former chief strategy officer at Leidos‘ (NYSE: LDOS) health group, has been appointed as CEO of DSFederal.
His new duties involve leading activities to reach DSFederal’s strategic, operational and financial goals, as well as overseeing employee engagement and client relationships and partnerships, the data science and digital company said Monday.
Chen served as a U.S. Naval officer from 1984 to 1991 before moving to the private sector, where he spent more than 30 years gaining experience in systems integration and other IT services.
The executive spent more than a decade as Leidos Health Group CSO and most recently, he worked as vice president of health and human services at the said unit prior to joining DSFederal.
He was vice president of strategic planning and business innovation at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and was VP of business development at SAGA Software.
