Dave Cogar
Virginia-based management consulting company DRT Strategies has appointed Dave Cogar as its new president.
Cogar joined the company in February and has brought more than 25 years of experience as a P&L executive in line with CEO Susan Kidd’s goals to recruit and position senior leaders to support the company’s growth strategy, DRT said Wednesday.
Kidd noted that Cogar will work to aid DRT’s growth through government and commercial contracts as well as help develop a collaborative culture.
Cogar previously held leadership roles as a senior vice president for ICF International (Nasdaq: ICFI) and a director at CGI Group and has worked at those companies for 10 and 14 years, respectively.
He helped start up ICF Interactive, was in charge of developing CGI’s ProSteward and Tempo environmental technology products within its AMS business and has experience in IT operations, sales and consulting.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and cognitive science from Dartmouth College.
DRT Strategies offers IT management, financial and technology transformation, program and project management and strategy and change services to industry and government partners, which include the Agriculture Department, Justice Department, Food and Drug Administration, Labor Department and Environmental Protection Agency.
