Ronald LeClere, formerly a vice president of finance within General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, has joined Halfaker and Associates as chief financial officer at the Arlington, Va.-based systems integration services contractor.

He will assist the Halfaker leadership team in operational decision-making efforts and oversee financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, forecasting and business case analysis functions in his new role, the company said Friday.

The 25-year financial planning and analysis veteran previously held FP&A responsibility at the health and civilian solutions group of General Dynamics Information Technology.

LeClere led GDIT through the sale of its federal citizen engagement centers to Maximus (NYSE: MMS) in a $400M deal that closed in November.

He also worked in a similar position at healthcare information technology provider Vangent, which General Dynamics acquired in 2011 for approximately $960M cash.
