Greg Godbout, chief technology officer and U.S. digital services lead at the Environmental Protection Agency, will join cBrains international team effective May 1.
Godbout will work to introduce updates to the F2 platform and help the Denmark-based software company expand into the U.S. market, cBrain said Tuesday.
The cBrain F2 automation tool is designed to help government agencies facilitate communications, manage records and perform knowledge processing operations.
During his time at EPA, he helped oversee product management operations and various programs, including the White House Smart Cities, E-Enterprise and eManifest initiatives.
Godbout is a Presidential Innovation Fellow who co-founded the 18F digital services organization at the General Services Administration in 2014 and served as 18F executive director.
His work at 18F includes the establishment of the Agile Delivery blanket purchase agreement, creation of 18F Consulting for acquisition support as well as the implementation of the open-source policy.
Godbout has held senior software architect and systems analyst positions at several technology and financial services firms, including Bank of America, TEKsystems and SenecaOne Finance.
