Shobhit Karanwal, formerly a senior manager at Deloitte‘s cybersecurity advisory practice, has been named vice president of growth at College Park, Maryland-based information technology provider Infotrend.
He will oversee Infotrend’s new business research, partnerships and proposal development efforts in the federal sector, the company said Wednesday.
The nearly two-decade industry veteran will also aim to provide the leadership team with recommendations to diversify business operations into new clients and government agencies.
Karanwal previously served as chief business development officer at Planned Systems International and held various senior positions at CACI International (NYSE: CACI), SalientCRGT, Alethix, LTS and AT&T (NYSE: T).
