Christine Couch, formerly director of operations at CSRA (NYSE: CSRA), has joined MetroStar Systems as senior vice president for the defense and intelligence business at the Reston, Virginia-based information technology services contractor.
MetroStar said Wednesday Couch will be responsible for helping develop and execute the company’s strategies to grow technology offerings for the Defense Department and the intelligence community.
The 20-year GovCon veteran will also advise existing and potential clients on efforts to adopt agile service delivery models to secure their organizations’ IT infrastructure systems.
“Adding Christine is part of our ongoing strategy to cultivate a well-rounded leadership team, ” said Robert Santos, MetroStar co-founder and president.
“Her ideas and guidance will be critical in helping us expand our footprint in the Defense and Intel markets, and help our customers better understand MetroStar’s unique capabilities, ” Santos added.
