Former ASRC Federal CTO Carl Buffington Joins Koniag Government Services as Chief Growth Officer

Carl Buffington, former chief technology officer of ASRC Federal and a more than 20-year technology industry veteran, has been appointed chief growth officer at Koniag Government Services.

He will lead the development and implementation of growth strategies related to operational collaboration, mergers and acquisitions, executive leadership and business development, Koniag Government Services said Monday.

At ASRC Federal, he helped create customer services for a company portfolio that encompassed the federal intelligence, defense, civilian and health markets.

Buffington previously served as vice president of enterprise solutions at Vistronix, which ASRC Federal acquired in August 2016. He also led a software development company as CEO and president.

Chantilly, Va.-based Koniag Government Services provides enterprise, professional and operational management services in the federal market.
