He will oversee an integrated business organization that provides communications infrastructure maintenance, maritime modernization and readiness and sustainment services in the government market, Valkyrie said Friday.
In his most recent role at Amentum, Hopper led the company’s shipboard readiness operations and prime contracts that supported the Navy Regional Maintenance Center.
“Dale is the perfect fit to integrate and lead Valkyrie’s growing portfolio of logistics, modernization, and installation programs and capabilities,” said Dave Streett, president and chief operating officer of Valkyrie.
Hopper retired from the Navy as a master chief and his active-duty service included roles such as assistant supply officer at Submarine Squadron Eight and submarine force storekeeper at Commander, Submarine Force Atlantic.
