Sean Pender
Sean Pender, formerly a senior vice president and technology solutions group manager at Alion Science and Technology, has joined MCR as president of the company’s newly established solutions group.
He brings more than 30 years of technology development and implementation experience in high-profile government and international client programs to his new position, MCR said Tuesday.
MCR President Vince Kiernan said Pender and his team will initially focus on efforts to create value for existing customers of the CommandEdge integrated program management service.
Pender previously managed daily operations and profit-and-loss functions of seven divisions within Alion Science’s technology solutions group.
He also held business development leadership roles at Leonardo DRS, formerly called DRS Technologies, and served as director of the advanced research and technology division at Optimus.
Before he joined the private sector, Pender worked as a program manager at the Defense Department and at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.
