Colin Jones, formerly vice president of strategy, nuclear and environment at AECOM (NYSE: ACM), has joined Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) as VP and deputy general manager for North American nuclear business, ExchangeMonitor reported Monday.
He will work with Jacobs’ public sector customers and brings more than two decades of government market, public affairs and business development experience to his new position.
Jones previously served as VP for key accounts at CH2M, which Jacobs purchased in December 2017. Before that, he worked at the Energy Department‘s Office of Environmental Management as senior policy adviser and chief of staff.
He also managed client and stakeholder relations at the Idaho National Laboratory after he served as an energy policy fellow within the offices of Sens. Larry Craig and Mike Crapo, R-Idaho.
Jacob’s nuclear business offers design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, decontamination, decommissioning, site closure, regulatory compliance and environmental services to the government and commercial sectors.
