Blake Nelson, a more than two-decade industry veteran and former Accenture executive, has taken the role of vice president and general manager at Pragmatics to drive delivery of big data analytics platforms and cloud-native capabilities, among other offerings, to customers.
Nelson will collaborate with Pragmatics' technology solutions group and business development team to explore various customer delivery efforts such as DevSecOps adoption and advanced analytics visualizations, the company said Thursday.
He will bring his expertise in machine learning, artificial intelligence, hyper-scale cloud computing and digital software-as-a-service platforms to his new role.
Prior to Pragmatics, Nelson led the Department of Defense cloud practice of Accenture's (NYSE: ACN) federal services business and served as VP of growth and strategic solutions at Beacon Associates.
