Forescout Appoints Rob Amezcua as Chief Revenue Officer, Joe Malenfant as Product Marketing VP

Cybersecurity company Forescout Technologies has promoted seasoned sales leader Rob Amezcua to chief revenue officer and hired marketing professional Joe Malenfant as vice president of product marketing.

In a statement published Tuesday, Forescout CEO Barry Mainz said the leadership appointments will help the company’s customers stay ahead of cyberthreats to traditional IT assets, Internet of Things and operational technology systems.

In this capacity, Amezcua will be responsible for Forescout’s revenue-generating functions, sales, customer relationships and go-to-market strategy to help drive growth initiatives.

“Rob has been one of our most effective evangelists and relationship builders, and I know he will continue to elevate our execution and drive customer success in his new role,” said Mainz.

Amezcua most recently served as senior VP of worldwide sales at Forescout. In 2021, he joined the company as VP for Americas enterprise sales.

According to his LinkedIn profile, the Baylor University graduate held senior sales leadership roles at several tech companies, including Broadcom, Symantec, Cylance and Intel Security.

Joe Malenfant as Forescout’s Product Marketing Lead

Malenfant will oversee Forescout’s go-to-market strategy and messaging for the company’s cybersecurity platform across IT, IoT and OT environments.

“Joe’s deep domain expertise in cybersecurity and IoT, along with his strong voice in the market, will be critical in shaping how we tell the Forescout story,” said Mainz.

He brings to the role deep experience across hardware and software-as-a-service offerings in both IT and OT environments.

Before Forescout, he held senior product marketing positions at Trellix, Ping Identity, Vectra AI and Cisco.

According to his profile on the professional networking platform, Malenfant spent more than three years at Lockheed Martin, where he served as senior manager for product and channel marketing and solutions marketing manager.
