TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 3, 2019 Sean Berg, senior vice president and general manager of global governments and critical infrastructure at Forcepoint, believes government agencies should look into how their employees interact with data in order to advance security amid the increasing use of cloud and automation in the sector, ExecutiveBiz reported May 23.
Berg wrote May 21 for FedTech magazine that a human-centric, automated and risk-adaptive approach is needed to drive cybersecurity while still enabling agency personnel to access data and perform their missions in a perimeterless environment.
“By focusing their security efforts on monitoring user behaviors, agencies can effectively enlist users in the fight to protect that data,” Berg added.
