TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 11, 2018 A Fluor-led (NYSE: FLR) joint venture has concluded work on a segment of a new bridge in New York as part of a construction project to replace the Governor Malcolm Wilson Tappan Zee Bridge, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The company said Friday the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge‘s eastbound span is now open to traffic while the westbound section is still in temporary configuration as the Tappan Zee Constructors JV — which also includes American Bridge Company, Granite Construction Northeast and Taylor Bros. — continues work on a shared-use path for cyclists and pedestrians.
