According to a SAM.gov award notice posted Friday, the Akima business will provide the Space Operations Command’s Space Acquisition and Integration Office at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado, with operations and organizational-level maintenance and other Department of Defense site support for the SCN in addition to the services mentioned above.
DOD said the first task order awarded under the contract is worth $205.5 million and has a performance period from June 22, 2024, to Feb. 21, 2030.
Overall, the contract’s ordering period is up to 10 years, running from June 14, 2024, to June 13, 2034.
