The Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency has started soliciting information on potential vendors that could provide operations and maintenance, requirements gathering and related support services for the Risk Mapping, Assessment and Planning Information Technology program.
FEMA intends to award a potential five-year, $130 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for services in support of the Risk MAP IT program, according to a sources sought notice published Wednesday.
The planned single-award IDIQ contract is expected to have a one-year base term and four option years. The performance period is anticipated to begin on June 9, 2025.
Interested offerors could submit responses describing their understanding and experience managing and maintaining legacy, multiapplication systems in the Amazon Web Services cloud platform while implementing a “Modernize in Place” approach to enhance the Risk MAP IT portfolio.
FEMA has invited companies to describe their experience and familiarity with flood and multihazard prediction algorithms and open source and proprietary Geographic Information System and Geospatial Data Visualization cloud-native tools.
Responses to the request for information are due Feb. 26.
