Bajinder Paul, formerly associate director at the Federal Reserve System, has joined InfoZen as vice president of strategy and solutions for the Bethesda, Maryland-based information technology services providers federal business.
Raj Ananthanpillai, chairman, CEO and president of InfoZen, said in a statement released Monday the company expects Paul to leverage his public sector experience to help federal agencies deal with IT modernization efforts and address other government issues.
Paul spent two years at FRS where he oversaw the central banks $1.4 billion IT portfolio, led assessments of IT operations and implementation of IT modernization efforts.
Prior to FRS, he worked at the General Services Administration as deputy associate administrator of citizen services and innovative technology.
The 20-year IT professional also held CIO roles at the Treasury Departments office of the comptroller of the currency and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Paul also worked at the Justice Department for four years as chief of software management branch.
His IT experience spans across various fields such as software application development, cloud, cybersecurity, open data initiative and enterprise architecture.
