Don Shea, a more than 15-year veteran in the federal health information technology sector, has been appointed vice president of corporate development at B3 Group, FedHealthIT reported Friday.
He will oversee the Herndon, Va.-based health IT services providers profit and loss, corporate development and integration functions in his new role.
Previously, Shea was VP of health services at ProSphere and led a business unit that supported more than 30 programs at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Prior to ProSphere, he held leadership positions at Information Innovators Inc., BMC Software and GTSI. He also spent more than a decade as a staff member for the House of Representatives.
B3 Group is headquartered in Herndon, Va., and offers clinical and health IT, acquisition and infrastructure support, software engineering, training and program management services.
