ExecutiveBiz featured John Vollmer, CEO of Amentum and a 2022 Wash100 Award recipient, in its most recent Executive Spotlight interview published Tuesday. He discussed the impact of acquiring DynCorp and PAE on Amentum’s transformational growth efforts, the recent contract awards from the U.S. Navy and Department of Energy, as well as the company’s footprint expansion in federal and intelligence sectors.
Here’s an excerpt from the interview with Vollmer about Amentum’s recent acquisition of PAE:
“The acquisition of PAE has made Amentum the second largest provider of services to the government, with more than 50,000 people and a total combined revenue of more than $9 billion in 2021… In terms of capabilities, Amentum will deepen its existing customer relationships at the Department of State, Department of Homeland Security, NASA and will allow us to bring additional capabilities as we continue to grow our intelligence and technology business.”
