Eric Mellinger’s Career Highlights
Mellinger has been with ManTech for over six years, serving in various director-level roles prior to his promotion.
Before joining ManTech, the executive was a professional staff member at the House Armed Services Committee. As the defense reform staff lead, he oversaw the reformation of the Department of Defense’s warfighting capabilities acquisition program.
Mellinger also served in the U.S. Marine Corps for three decades, holding various leadership positions of increasing responsibility. He last served as a line officer adjudicator at the Secretary of the Navy Council of Review Boards, where he adjudicated the disability compensation for injured, wounded and sick Navy and Marine Corps personnel. He was the chief of staff of the III Marine Expeditionary Force headquarters in Japan, a military assistant for the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy and commanding officer of one of the Recruit Training Regiments in the Marine Corps.
The ManTech VP was the G-3 operations and planning director for the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, leading combat operations in Afghanistan. He also served as the G-3 current operations officer and director of human resources.
