Eric Mackiewicz, a 19-year veteran of Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), has been promoted to vice president of operations within the company's civilian markets customer group, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Thursday.
He most recently served as director of business operations for the group that supports federal, state and local government and commercial customers.
Previously, he managed SAIC's program and business related to the State Department Vanguard information technology modernization contract.
Mackiewicz started his career at the company in 2001 as analyst for chemical and biological warfare effects as well as missile defense feasibility studies.
