The Environmental Protection Agency has awarded three companies positions on a potential five-year, $960 million contract to provide construction management and engineering services in support of EPA’s sediment remediation efforts under the Great Lakes Legacy Reauthorization Act and other laws.
According to notices published Monday on SAM.gov, EA Engineering, Science and Technology, Sevenson Environmental Services and Environmental Restoration are the awardees on the second iteration of the Great Lakes National Program Office Remediation and Restoration Services, or GLNPO-RRS II.
What Is GLNPO-RRS II?
According to a sources sought notice published in January 2023, GLNPO-RRS II is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covering construction management and sediment remedial services.
EPA expects the contract to streamline and accelerate Great Lakes Legacy Act contaminated sediment cleanups to help reduce risks to human health and the environment.
Task orders under the contract will be awarded as design-bid-build projects.
