Ensco will help the Federal Railroad Administration operate and maintain track inspection vehicles under a new five-year contract.
The company said Tuesday it will continue to support FRA’s Automated Track Inspection Program through safety compliance assessment, regulatory updates and data utilization efforts.
Contract work encompasses fleet operations, maintenance, engineering and information technology support services.
Springfield, Virginia-based Ensco has supported the agency’s mission since 1974, including the implementation of processes and tools designed to manage the safety of railroad tracks.
