Enlightenment Capital has purchased Agile Defense, a Reston, Virginia-based company focused on providing digital transformation and information technology platforms and services to the Department of Defense and other federal government customers.
Agile Defense has been offering enterprise IT, DevSecOps, cloud migration support, compliance as a service, cybersecurity assessment and risk management and IT service management support to U.S. military branches, Defense Information Systems Agency and federal clients since 1998, according to a joint release published Wednesday.
“Agile will serve as the foundation for Enlightenment’s newest platform, aimed at meeting the heightened demand by Federal customers for digital transformation and customized IT systems and operations,” said Devin Talbott, managing partner of Enlightenment Capital.
Jay Lee, CEO of Agile Defense, said Enlightenment understands the mission-critical needs of civilian and national security agencies and the partnership with the investment firm will enable Agile to strengthen its capacity to invest in new capabilities and advance strategic growth initiatives.
