TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 30, 2018 Engility (NYSE: EGL) has earned a potential $41 million task order to carry out on-site, logistics and training services supporting the U.S. Marine Corps command-and-control programs, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The company said Thursday it will provide an immersive training environment to help Marines learn to leverage virtual systems within a simulated platform, as part of work under the Global Command and Control System Tactical Combat Operations/Joint Tactical Common Operational Picture Workstation Sustainment Support order.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic awarded the task order to the technology company through the SeaPort-e contract vehicle.
