Engility (NYSE: EGL) has secured a potential five-year,$35.1 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide advisory and support services to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency‘s J10 nuclear enterprise support directorate.
The company will perform work at Fort Belvoir in Virginia and at various locations within and outside the continental U.S. through Feb. 28, 2022, the Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday.
Appropriations in the amount of $8.8 million were obligated at the time of the award from the agency’s fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance and research and development funds.
DTRA received three proposals via the Federal Business Opportunities website for the contract, which includes a one-year base period and four option years.
The J10 directorate works to develop, update and promote initiatives on nuclear safety, security, accountability, control reliability, emergency and disaster response and recovery, training, transportation and storage, infrastructure and research to U.S. and allied or partner forces and government organizations.
