TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 25, 2018 Engility (NYSE: EGL) Chairman and CEO Lynn Dugle has said she believes the U.S. Air Force and units such as the Space and Missile Systems Center have taken steps to accelerate space projects, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
Defense One reported April 17 that she and other defense executives at the National Space Symposium noted the faster process of awarding contracts in order to address capability needs at the Air Force.
Dugle, a 2018 Wash100 inductee, cited the Defense Department‘s granting of acquisition authorities to the service branches as the potential reason for the change.
