Elizabeth Ahrens
Elizabeth Ahrens, formerly executive director of NetImpact Strategies and a two-decade information technology industry veteran, has been promoted to vice president of the company’s civilian health business.
She will lead efforts to identify innovation opportunities for federal civilian customers and oversee the delivery of platforms and services to the sector, NetImpact said Tuesday.
Previously, Ahrens held the positions of program manager and operations director at Reston, Va.-based IT consulting services firm TIAG. She also served in leadership roles at SRA International and QED Consulting, where she led health IT and other initiatives for public and private sector clients such.
Stephanie Wilson, chief operations officer of NetImpact, said Ahrens was instrumental to the firm’s federal contract awards as well as its efforts to improve internal procedures and drive business development in her previous capacity.
Ahrens also has a significant experience in business and grants management for e-Government operations, according to the company.
