Elbit America Books Army Night Vision Goggle Delivery Order

The U.S. Army has awarded Elbit Systems of America a $139 million delivery order to continue producing Enhanced Night Vision Goggle-Binocular, or ENVG-B, systems for the military branch.

Elbit America said Thursday it will also provide logistics support and spare parts through the order placed under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract the Army awarded in 2023.

“The Enhanced Night Vision Goggle – Binocular systems are must-have on the modern battlefield,” said Erik Fox, vice president of warfighter systems at Elbit America. ”Our ENVG-Bs provide clarity in low-light and no-light conditions, so Soldiers can operate anytime and anywhere their mission dictates.”

The company will perform contract work through its facility in Roanoke, Virginia, and conduct deliveries through December 2026.

What Does the ENVG-B System Do?

Elbit America’s ENVG-B works to provide users with situational awareness in all weather and visibility conditions.

The night vision binocular system is designed to deliver passive targeting and augmented reality capabilities to warfighters for improved lethality, survivability and mobility.

Since 2020, the company has delivered more than 25,000 units of night vision binocular systems to service personnel through the Army’s ENVG-B program and Squad Binocular Night Vision Goggle program of the U.S. Marine Corps.
