Seven independent firms and one joint venture have been awarded $92M under a U.S. Navy indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to build, renovate and repair commercial and institutional buildings at government installations throughout Naval Facilities Engineering Command's southwest area of operations.
This award increases the potential value of the multiple-award IDIQ from $842M to $934M, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
NAVFAC received 22 offers for the original contract via a competitive bidding process on the Navy's e-commerce portal.
