Managed and professional services company Effectual has bought National Harbor, Md.-based JHC Technology in a deal that will extend the former’s cloud offerings to the government sector.
Effectual said Tuesday it financed the transaction using investment funds from Catalyst Investors and Lumerity Capital.
JHC designs and builds infrastructure designed to support customers in cloud migration and information technology modernization efforts.
The company holds Amazon Web Services Premier Consulting and GovCloud (US) partner designations, an authority to operate on AWS and positions on U.S. Navy and General Services Administration contract vehicles.
Effectual is headquartered in Hoboken, NJ., and offers IT consulting, cloud migration support and digital transformation services to the public and private sectors.
